October, 2025 --- Day 2
✨ Scottish Fantazy
🌧️ Day 2 — Cerulean Rain & Cyberpunk Greenwich
“We chased the sunrise and found rainbows in the drizzle.”
We woke early to chase the sunrise, jogging through still-sleepy
Cambridge streets as the sky blazed pink, orange, and fire-red.
He was buzzing with energy; I was already questioning all my life
choices and realizing I desperately needed to restart my exercise
routine.
The sky burned brighter as we ran — a painter gone mad with color — and by the time we stumbled back, I was ready for a long shower. We left a little late, smelling of shampoo and victory.
Then, London time.
We met Charlie’s best friend and our classmate in the City — a
trio armed with coffee and a questionable sense of direction. From
Liverpool Street to the Gherkin, along the river Thames past Big Ben,
the London Eye, Tate Modern, and St Paul’s — we walked the city’s
heartbeat.
We wandered Covent Garden and Soho, neon signs winking like
mischievous spirits.
Lunch at Japes Pizza became an endless laughter reel: too much
cheese, too many stories, exactly enough happiness.
Then the sky began its art project again. The Queen’s walk shimmered; the Thames turned cerulean, reflective and mysterious — like a melancholy AI poet from a future London. We took the Uber ferry down the Thames to Greenwich, the fog rolling in to swallow towers, ships, and maybe a few timelines.
We called it “The Cyberpunk Hour of Rain.”
Somewhere between raindrops and reality, we lost track of time — maybe that was the Greenwich magic. ⏰💙
